This is a genuine leather A2 jacket, a type of flight jacket. I bought it new last year and have only worn it about 5 times. The collar has the A2's characteristic stand-up collar, and the back of the collar has a hook-and-eye closure, inheriting the vintage design. The leather is a soft, textured leather, about 1mm to 1.2mm thick. The color is a russet brown. It doesn't have the short length that is a drawback of the A2, and has a natural length, so I think people of any age can wear it.
