Onta-yaki A kiln located in a mountain village in Hita City, Oita Prefecture. Since its opening in 1705, it has continued to preserve its traditional culture and manufacturing methods through single-inheritance. I believe I purchased this from a shop that handles Onta-yaki, but it's a lovely teacup with a rare glaze that differs from the general image of Onta-yaki. Looking at the glaze alone, it gives the impression of being more similar to Shodai-yaki. I recall it being made by Takuma Sakamoto of Koji Sakamoto Kiln, but I apologize if I'm mistaken. It's a bit large, making it perfect for those who drink a lot of tea. For those who love Mingei (folk art), please consider it. 【Important!】There are several large bulges originally present on the inside of the teacup on the right side of the photo. Please be sure to check the photos! Due to these bulges, the condition of the item is listed as "has some scratches and dirt." ※Due to the handmade nature of the item, there may be distortions, unevenness, and pinholes.
