During normal use, it moves along the rope with the user's movements without manual operation. In the event of a fall or sudden acceleration, the "ASAP" locks onto the rope to stop the fall. It has a locking function to prevent the device from moving, in order to shorten the fall distance. The connection arm allows it to remain connected to the harness at all times, eliminating the risk of dropping the device when attaching or detaching from the rope. To ensure distance from the backup rope, the "ASAP" can be used in conjunction with an energy absorber. It complies with American and European standards.
