This is a black cat ashtray from Babington's Tea Room in Rome, dating from the 1980s to 90s. They used to have shops in Isetan in Shinjuku and Sagamihara in Japan about 30 years ago, and I loved the shop, but unfortunately, they closed down. Looking at the Rome headquarters' website, it seems that the tableware, etc., has been renewed. I obtained this from overseas. The hand-drawn cats have different expressions, making each one unique and charming. The English lettering and size also seem to vary slightly depending on the era. This cat is quite cute. Size: Approximately 11cm x 11cm. There is a faint crack near the upper right corner. There is a tiny chip on the edge of the back, and a thin crack extends from there. There are crazing cracks throughout, so it's not very noticeable. Also, there is some dirt in the crazing cracks in the lower right part. Please understand that this is an old item that has been used. *The red card is not included in the sale. (It's a clipping from a cake box or something from back then. I loved it so much that I kept it.)
