Prayer Beads Bongeunsa is a Buddhist temple located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It is a branch temple of Jogyesa, the head temple of the Jogye Order, the largest sect of Korean Buddhism. From the Joseon Dynasty to the Japanese colonial period, from 1551 to 1936, Bongeunsa was the head temple of the Seon (Zen) sect. I purchased this about 10 years ago during a trip to Korea. The bag has tears and stains. The prayer beads have been stored and do not have any major damage. I have marked it as "near unused," but the paper bag has damage.
