I've been using it for 3 years myself, and it has worked without any problems for 6-hour boat fishing trips (e.g., for hairtail) with an 80-go sinker at a depth of about 80m, with frequent raising and lowering, until the very end. I also use it to power my fish finder and to inflate my boat. The secret to making all batteries last longer is to be careful about high temperatures and over-discharge. 1: Do not expose to direct sunlight for extended periods. 2: After fishing, rinse off salt and then charge. (Salt can cause a weak current to flow between the positive and negative terminals, leading to over-discharge, and can corrode the terminals, making it difficult for current to flow.) *Batteries are consumables, so it's best not to buy used ones!
