If you require damage protection, please notify us before purchase as additional shipping charges will apply. ★ Lead wire terminals often use phosphor bronze or other copper alloys because they are less likely to cause poor contact during use compared to softer materials like ordinary copper. Therefore, avoid forcing them in too hard, as this can easily break them at the base. (Compared to copper, these alloys are harder and less ductile, making them more prone to breaking under impact.) Use needle-nose pliers to gently insert the terminals, gripping the flat part of the terminal tip, near the insertion point. Even unused, standard lead wires have different hole diameters at each end. Cartridges and headshells also have varying mounting hole diameters depending on the manufacturer, so be careful not to break them during installation. If it's too tight, slightly widen the hole before inserting. We have thoroughly checked these items, and the terminals are harder than copper, so it's unlikely they will break or deform during standard shipping. We tested them by dropping them and stepping on them with shoes, and they should be fine unless intentionally damaged. Very rarely, there may be instances where items arrive broken or deformed.
