The thighs can be fastened with snaps, so the underwear won't shift. The front can be fastened with a string and two buttons. I liked that the seams and tags are on the outside, so there's less irritation to the skin. I used these for about six months after birth. I don't see any major stains or tears on the clothes themselves, but I apologize if I missed any minor ones. There are some loose threads and adhesive residue from name stickers on the tags. I think it's okay to cut them off. Not sold separately. No pets or smokers.
