I am offering an 8-car set featuring the Rheingold, a representative international train in Europe's TEE (Trans Europ Express) network, and its iconic DB103 AC electric locomotive. I purchased these at auction and ran them a few times, but have since stored them in a dark place. The original boxes and instruction manuals are included. There are no scratches or damage to the bodies, but please refrain from bidding if you are concerned about minor scuffs. The Roco DB103 electric locomotive is DCC sound-equipped, allowing you to enjoy a variety of sounds as shown in the photos. An engineer figure is placed in the cab on the 1-end side. The passenger cars are not the official Rheingold formation, so I'm calling them "Rheingold-style." However, the set includes a 7-car consist featuring a distinctive dome observation car, a dining car with a kitchen on the second floor, and a dining room car equipped with a pantograph, so I think you can enjoy the atmosphere. Since the couplers are different between Lima and Roco cars, I have installed couplers from both manufacturers on the appropriate cars. The couplers are also different from the locomotive, so I have attached simple hook couplers for connection. Please consider adding this set to your collection.
