Boot Length: High-cut Sole: Firm Features: Waterproof, Breathable This is a waxed version of Montbell's authentic mountaineering boot, the Alpine Cruiser 2500. I purchased an unused, older model at auction and used it approximately 5 times for day hikes on mountains around 1500m. It's an OutDry model, not Gore-Tex, and is in very clean condition. The soles were replaced with Trail Gripper soles after purchase, which are less slippery than the original Vibram soles, and as you can see in the images, they are still in usable condition. The wax treatment makes it more waterproof and durable than the original, and with proper maintenance, I believe it can be used for a long time. The insoles are not original, but I will include a pair of Ashisapuri insoles (worth about 3000 yen). There are a total of 9 pairs of shoelaces, though they are not the originals.
