This is antique fabric I purchased at an antique shop. It's a large pattern on purple crepe, which is gorgeous, but the colors are subdued. They are similar antique fabrics, but not from the same kimono. They must have both been lovely furisode (long-sleeved kimono for unmarried women). I bought them to make a Japanese-style tapestry, but I hope someone else can use them. One piece was 10,000 yen (this one is unopened, as it's still in the bag), and the other was about 5,000 yen. This is the price for both pieces.
