This is a guinomi (sake cup) by Shin Nakamura, son of Rokuro Nakamura, a master craftsman of Bizen ware, known as the "god of sake vessels." It is a flat-shaped cup with a "botanmochi" (peony rice cake) pattern appearing on the inside, and the carving of the foot rim is reminiscent of his father Rokuro Nakamura's works. ■ Size Height: approx. 3.4 cm Mouth width: approx. 8 cm *Sizes are average values. As this is a handmade vessel, there may be variations depending on the measurement location. *Please forgive any errors as these are amateur measurements. ■ Accessories Tomobako (original box) and Tomofu (original cloth) Regarding the condition, there are no critical damages and it is generally in good condition, but there are some minor damages, dirt, and scratches from use and storage. Also, due to the characteristics of Bizen ware, there are kiln imperfections, cracks, and kiln variations. Please understand that it is impossible to capture all scratches and dirt due to the nature of the item. As there may be other oversights, please refrain from purchasing if you are seeking perfection. The tomobako and tomofu have dents, stains, and dirt.
