This is a visiting kimono with a gorgeous pattern of hand-painted flowers in a beautiful purple color. It has a delicate beauty within its luxury, and one can imagine it was worn by someone in their teens. The lining of the bodice is made of vibrant red silk (akamomi), which is beautiful. It is no longer seen after the war. I think the delicate gold leaf work, stroke by stroke, is wonderful. The one-crested family crest is "Maru ni mitsu-gashiwa" (three oak leaves within a circle). It may be almost unused.
