Based on the ORIENT Olympia manufactured in 1961, this Freshman and then the Orient Grand Prix were manufactured in the final period. Freshman = manufactured for young people, it was a highly practical watch that was popular with students and salaried workers at the time. Compared to SEIKO and CITIZEN, there are fewer existing examples, making it a rare item today. ●The dial is a silver dial with radial lines. All logos are written in cursive, making it a very attractive vintage piece. ●The crystal, dial, hands, and indexes are in good condition for a vintage watch of this era, with no major scratches except for some scratches on the back cover.
