This is a wall clock made by incorporating a Kintsugi-repaired Aka-e Ko-Imari porcelain piece into the wooden frame of an old, traditional Japanese-style pillar clock. Another Ko-Imari piece was cut and gold-leafed to create the pendulum. As these items are antique, there may be some dirt and scratches. It has been converted to a quartz movement and runs on two AA batteries. If any problems or malfunctions occur, we will repair it, so please feel at ease. Old Japanese tools and other antique items are brought back to life and begin to tell time again. There is no hourly chime.
