It replicates the real car's retractable hardtop (manual operation in the case of the model car), which is stored in the trunk when open. When you open the trunk, you'll find the hardtop, which you can lift and use as the roof. This American car is a symbol of the post-war American Golden Age, truly representing a bygone era. The engine room and driver's seat are faithfully reproduced as shown in the photos. It is in almost unused condition, and I took it out of its original box for these photos to check the moving parts.
