I've used this for about six months. The sharpness of the tip has gradually decreased, and I think it's at the point where it doesn't really matter if I sharpen it or not. I'm selling it at a slightly lower price, so please sharpen it if you're concerned after purchasing. It's a serrated scissors, and I was using it for grooming around the legs.
