Wooden Puzzle Interior 3-Piece Set This was displayed on a sideboard at my parents' house. I believe these are items that have aged over the years. The main bodies were still covered in plastic, but the film shows signs of deterioration such as holes, discoloration, and stains. There is some staining on one of the cat pieces. (Since they are made of wood, the stain may be removable by removing the film and sanding.) The price was affixed to the bottom, suggesting they were expensive items.
