Some of the images and text are borrowed from the musical instrument store where I originally purchased it. Since buying it, I've cherished it, only playing it at home. I'm reluctant to let it go, but I'm selling it to declutter. This is a Dean Hard Tail Pro, made in Japan. Production has ended, and since the Japanese-made models were originally produced in small numbers, it's rare to find them in good condition these days. The tremolo version, which allows for arm play, is popular for the Japanese-made Pro models, so how about this one for those who have been looking for it? The original shape archtop body features beautifully arranged flame maple, giving it a very luxurious look. It has a mahogany back, a mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard. The pickups are Seymour Duncan SH-1n/SH-4. GOTOH locking tuners are used. Among Dean Guitars, the Hard Tail is popular for its PRS-like shape, but the sound is closer to a Les Paul, with a powerful tone. Although it's a used item, it has a reasonable amount of wear and tear, but the appearance is generally clean, and the playability is good. Comes with the original hard case.
