New, unused, and stored item. This is a kimono from about 30 years ago. Perfect for those looking for high-quality items that are no longer available. I believe the fabric and tailoring are excellent. It has been stored in a paulownia chest, so it is in good condition without any damage. This is Oshima Tsumugi, considered a high-end kimono. I would love for someone to wear it. I am trying to reduce the number of kimonos that my mother, who used to wear kimonos often, has collected. This is a beautiful Oshima Tsumugi with a dignified design and deep colors, despite the large pattern. It is being sold with a matching haori (kimono jacket). I opened it for the first time to list it. I haven't taken photos of it fully spread out to avoid touching it too much. If you would like, I can upload more pictures, so please let me know. I couldn't capture the red color well in the first image, but it is a more subdued and deeper red. Images 5 onwards are of the haori.
