This is a remnant of obi core material, likely from an old Nagoya obi, fukuro obi, or maru obi, disassembled for kimono remodeling. It's a thick obi core woven with the thick threads often found in old obis. There are traces of being folded in half, stains, discoloration due to aging, and remnants of silk wadding (silk cotton), although I've removed most of it. This is not new fabric, so please consider purchasing if you understand antique, vintage fabrics, old cloth, and recycled kimonos. It's a thick but not stiff, slightly soft core material, so I hope those looking for it can use it well as a handmade material. It will be folded compactly and shipped in simple packaging.
