It will play normally with any mono earphone (2-pole, 3-pole, or 4-pole). However, when headphones or stereo earphones are connected, only the left side will play. If you want to listen with both ears, use a 2-pole male to 3-pole female adapter. (This unit is a mono cassette recorder, so it will not be stereo.) * Only the main unit is for sale. Please prepare a recording tape and two AA batteries separately. * The speaker below the unit will only mute when a general earphone with an impedance of 32Ω or less is connected. (The amplifier's power turns off by detecting the load of the earphone jack.) * There are some scratches. Please refer to image 4. Packaging and Shipping: Approximately 250g, over 3cm thick.
