I will give my impressions after completing the game and achieving all trophies. Shadows has received mixed reviews, but I found it to be quite enjoyable. In addition to the beautiful and detailed graphics, the scenario, combat system, and map exploration were all very satisfying. Regarding Yasuke, the Black protagonist, there have been various criticisms, but I personally didn't find it to be a problem if you approach it as a game. There are also criticisms regarding the lack of understanding of Japanese culture, lack of respect, and disregard for Asia, but as a personal opinion, I think they put in a lot of effort. For example, I practice the tea ceremony, and I thought the depiction and understanding of the tea ceremony were quite impressive. First of all, this game is not a historical or cultural textbook, so I think it's out of place to criticize it on that basis. There are also criticisms about making Yasuke, a Black man, one of the protagonists, but the story requires a character with a past connection to the Templar Order, which wouldn't make sense with a Japanese male samurai. If you don't like Yasuke, you don't have to use him, but you probably can't clear the game without him, and playing as Yasuke is quite fun. It's become a bit long, but this is a game I highly recommend you play.
