This is a shallow mouthpiece for the backbore, but not extremely shallow, and it has a wide rim, but not extremely thick. It produces a classic, bright tone. I think it would also suit a piccolo trumpet. It's a beautiful item with almost no signs of use. The price is reasonable considering the condition, so please refrain from price negotiations.
