MINTON ENGLAND Vintage, Made in England, 1950s ── The Crystal of Elegant Beauty Left by British Minton 《GRASMERE》── Founded in 1793, Minton was known as the "Queen of British Ceramics" and was loved by royalty and nobility, including Queen Victoria. However, production as a brand unfortunately ended in 2015. This item was produced in the 1950s, 《GRASMERE (Grasmere)》. The soft ivory bone china, deep navy and turquoise, and gold rim add elegance. Minton Grasmere, a long-established British ceramic brand. Small blue flowers and brown plants are intricately drawn on a cream-colored base. Features of the GRASMERE series: * Design: Designed with the beautiful village of "Grasmere" in the Lake District of England in mind. Delicate blue small flowers and brown scroll patterns are drawn on a cream-colored base, and it is edged with luxurious gold. * History: Manufactured from 1974 to 1998, but is now discontinued (production ended). About the brand "Minton": * Founded: Established in England in 1793 by Thomas Minton. * Current Status: Absorbed into the Royal Doulton Group in 1968, and the brand itself was later discontinued.
