Rare original 501, made in the USA in the 00's. Button back 553, sewn at the "San Benito Factory," the so-called "final US-made model" just before the US factory closed. It is said that the color will remain dark and emerge, and vertical fading will occur as you wear it. This individual also has a dark navy color remaining, and the whiskers and hem are beautifully faded. The hem has been neatly cut for low-hip wear and has also faded. I think it would look cool with an ombre, mohair, and Converse, giving it a grunge vibe. Vintage and re-edition denim often come in small sizes, and larger sizes are becoming increasingly rare.
