Set of 10 wooden, gold-lacquered, maki-e soup bowls from the Taisho era. These are very sturdy bowls. These are vermilion lacquered bowls with auspicious gold maki-e of a pair of gentle-faced cranes and pine trees. The retro design makes them perfect for antique lovers. Not only for soup, but their size makes them suitable for udon, soba, or mini-donburi. They can also be used for simmered dishes or as Japanese tableware. The auspicious design makes them suitable for celebrations.
