Kena production studio, Kaze Kobo. This is a G-key kena made from popular South Kyushu Houraichiku bamboo. Total length 378mm, outer diameter near the mouthpiece 26.8mm, inner diameter 18.4mm, finger hole maximum 11.3mm, left ring finger hole 11.1mm. Tuning is done assuming 440 at a temperature of 20 degrees Celsius, but in the workshop at a room temperature of 27 degrees Celsius in the summer, it will be around 442-443. Please understand that there is a large individual difference because it changes considerably depending on how you use your breath. With the mellow tone unique to Houraichiku bamboo, you can play from low notes to three octaves without any problems.
