Chabaori (Tea Coat) A紬-style coat with a black base and stylish accents of blue, brown, beige, and wisteria colors. It is a type of kimono coat, but it is not for going out; it is used as home wear. The length is short, about at the waist, so it doesn't wrinkle even when sitting seiza-style (kneeling). There are no gussets under the arms. It is worn by tying the fabric strings sewn onto the collar, without using a haori string. The image is easy to understand if you think of the coats often provided at Japanese inns.
