This is a hard case for a Yamaha horn. Bell-cut type. I didn't use this case much because I used a soft case soon after purchasing it. There is some deterioration on the outside, such as the metal fittings, due to long-term storage, but it hasn't been used much, so there is no deterioration from use, and the inside is quite clean.
