This is a work by the popular matryoshka artist, Marmer in the Soda. I bought it a few years ago during the Christmas season. The piece features nesting Christmas trees, with dolls inside. The dolls themselves do not nest. There were several different types, each hand-painted with unique faces and expressions. The trees are about 10 centimeters tall, and the dolls are about 5 centimeters, making them a perfect size to display on a desk or table. Perfect for those who love cute things!
