The band was formed by three original Yardbirds members: Jim McCarty, Paul Samwell-Smith, and Chris Dreja. They gained attention with their modern sound, centered on pop rock. The Yardbirds reunion was originally part of an event (Beck and Clapton did not participate), and the former members who gathered then continued as a new band, which was the beginning of this band. In 1984, they released "BOX OF FROGS New Vow," which featured guests such as Jeff Beck and Rory Gallagher, and became a hot topic. This second album features major artists due to their strong connections, including Jimmy Page, Rory Gallagher, Steve Hackett, and Max Middleton.
