This is an Aria Pro II CSB series. Made in Japan, manufactured by Matsumoku. Judging from the serial number's initial, it's likely from 1986. It's a medium scale, but it resonates well. Cleaned. This is a so-called Japanese vintage guitar. The build quality is very good. The neck, in particular, feels great in your hand. The appearance is as shown in the photos. There are some dents and dings, but there's nothing where the wood is peeling. Overall, I think it's in good condition. There's a horizontal crack in the paint near the top of the pickups, as shown in the photos. There are a few dents on the neck and fretboard, but nothing that catches while playing. It has a nice wood grain, and the way the wood is joined is careful and the build is excellent. Sound output has been confirmed. I was playing it normally. Both the volume and tone controls have some crackling. It's not enough to make the sound cut out. The neck has a slight high-fret buzz, and I was thinking of shaving down the high frets to adjust it, but thanks to the medium scale, the action is a bit high, which feels good, so I've left it as is. The truss rod can be turned both ways, but it feels stiff, as if it's stuck. The frets are hardly worn, perhaps because it wasn't played much. It has a matching headstock, but the headstock is discolored. The body also has a nice discolored look, but the headstock is more so. I haven't opened the area under the pickups, but the control section hasn't had any conductive shielding applied, so I think it would improve just by doing that. The control section is in its original condition. Shipping will be in a bonus soft case, packed with air padding and cardboard (recycled).
