KANSTUL Kanstul Monette Monette B7H Tp Cor Flh Mouthpiece Set Trumpet Cornet Flugelhorn This is a Kanstul Monette copy mouthpiece. Although it's a copy, it's a digital copy made using a CNC lathe, so the precision is quite high. The original is a Monette B7H, an Adolph Herseth model that was only produced for a short time. The Herseth model was only available for trumpet, but Kanstul made this mouthpiece with the B7H rim and adapted it to the cup shapes of a general Monette cornet and flugelhorn. I don't play the cornet, so I'm not sure, but is it a shallow cup? The flugelhorn is Yamaha (large) shank. I used to own a real B7H, and I think the rim feel was almost the same. It's not as wide-rimmed as a typical Monette mouthpiece. I purchased this from an American collector who bought the dead stock of the now-defunct Kanstul. I've only test-played it with blue tape wrapped around it. The flugelhorn mouthpiece has a faint insert mark from when I bought it, but it's not very noticeable. Overall, there are no major scratches or dents, but it is used, so there are some minor dings and scratches. Please check the photos. I hesitated because I knew I wouldn't be able to get it again if I let it go, but I won't be returning to this rim, and I'm selling it to raise funds. The trumpet mouthpiece alone is rare, but the cornet and flugelhorn mouthpieces are also made with the same rim, so I think it's a unique set.
