This is a homemade repair part for the hi-hat pedal of the Roland TD series electronic drum sets. If the pedal doesn't respond when stepped on, or only responds when stepped on hard, the internal rubber part shaped like the one in the photo may be deteriorated or hardened. While there are methods circulating online to soak the rubber part in hot water, it will harden again after a while. Depending on the degree of deterioration, it may even melt in hot water (mine melted, lol). This product is a homemade repair part created with a high-precision 3D printer. It uses a soft material (TPU) also used in smartphone soft cases. Simply replacing the deteriorated part will allow you to maintain functionality maintenance-free for a long time (I've been using it on my own equipment for several years without any problems). Since it is made with a high-precision 3D printer, it can be replaced directly (due to the manufacturing process, some sides may be slightly rough, but this does not affect the operation at all). Replacement is not difficult (you can find the procedure by searching online). Replacement may be more difficult for HD series than FD series, but it is possible. Discounts are not available.
