This is an oilcloth cover for the koto. It is a remake made from a disassembled komon kimono made of silk. I believe there are no noticeable stains or snags. The outer fabric is non-slip and sturdy, making it easy to put on the koto. The lining is new cotton fabric, and the color is white. It is thinner than commercially available ones. This is handmade by my mother, who worked as a dressmaker.
