It's a baby carrier that allows you to hold your baby horizontally from birth, and it was very useful for newborn follow-up visits and one-month checkups when a stroller couldn't be used yet. Also, since it's not a waist-wrap type carrier, it was convenient for carrying my older child on my back even when I was pregnant with my second child and my belly was big.
