Quartz Crystal Bowl These bowls are made by pulverizing quartz crystal and heating it to form a shape. A (La) = 432Hz tuned set of 7 bowls. Diameters range from 12 inches (30 cm) to 7 inches (17.5 cm). The musical scale is from C (Do) to B (Si), the seven notes of Do Re Mi Fa So La Si. There are no semitones. High-pitched crystal bowls A and B are easier to play by rubbing the sides of the bowl with a rubber ball mallet. The weight in the two cases is approximately 15 kg.
