This michiyuki coat (kimono coat) was given to me by my aunt. The details are unknown, but it seems to have been worn a few times. It has been stored for a long time and has fold marks. I couldn't find any other stains or dirt. I believe the color is probably suou-iro (sappanwood color), a subdued reddish-brown with a touch of brown. The pattern on the fabric features flower balls (hanamari) and noshi (decorative strips), giving it an elegant and華やかな impression. The name tag says "Ginza Matsuya," so it was likely purchased at Matsuya in Ginza, which is no longer in business.
