24-Color Water-Based Pens, Made in Japan "MARVY artist colors 1300-24" Although discontinued, they are well-regarded for their performance as art supplies and are also popular for pen spinning. Commonly known as "Mabi Maka," they are a highly sought-after item among stationery collectors. The 1300 series pens have "MARVY MARKER artist color 1300" printed in gold on the pen body. There is a 1400 series that is also recognized as Mabi Maka, but those pens have "MARVY ART DIRECTOR 1400" printed on them, so they seem to be different from Mabi Maka. The authentic Mabi Maka appears to be this 1300 series. I received these from an acquaintance and they have been untouched since. I briefly checked the ink of the pens, and: 1. BLACK, 13. OCHRE, and 18. DARK BROWN have almost no ink. The others, I'm not sure how much ink is left, but they did produce color when tested. Also, 19.
