The calligraphy styles are completely different, so I wonder if these are original works? On the right are Chinese poems by monks, and on the left are Japanese poems (waka) by Imperial princes and court nobles, I presume? Quite a lineup. I think it's rare. An old drawing of Shugakuin is also included. I'd appreciate it if someone knowledgeable could provide more details.
