A sumi-e painting of bamboo with a verse. The inscription reads "Chokugai Sei Den Sha" with a seal. The accompanying box has "Chokugai Ga San Bokuchiku-zu" on the lid and "Chokugai Den Dai Shinkado ni" with a seal on the underside of the lid. There are overall rolling wrinkles and some slight lifting of the paper, particularly on the left side of the upper seal.
