This is a Ludwig Acrolite L-404 (LM404), likely from the mid to late 1970s. I purchased it from a music store a few years ago in almost original condition, including the heads. The only non-original parts are the snare cord and heads. Considering it's from the 70s, the condition is very good. The internal mute is still fully functional. The strainer has a little play in it, but it's still usable in its current state. Ludwig is known for legendary snare drums like the LM400, 402, and Black Beauty, but the Acrolite is also a fantastic drum in its own right. I think it can be used for a wide range of genres, from jazz to rock.
