This is an Angora (rabbit hair) hat that my parents purchased on a trip to England decades ago. It has a unique silhouette, shorter in the front and longer in the back, and the brim has wire inside, allowing you to shape it as you like. I tried wearing it backwards, and it looks stylish either way. See images 8 and 9. Image 10 shows the brim bent up on both sides, like a cowboy hat. Image 11 shows one side raised and the other side pulled down for an asymmetrical look. The impression changes greatly depending on the direction and how you bend it, so I think it's easy to match with various outfits with just this one hat. Unlike wool, it has an elegant, velvety feel with the characteristic fluffiness of Angora. ● Condition My parents stored it unused after purchase. * There is no box or tag. There was no quality label from the beginning. The inside manufacturer's label has yellowed with age, and the edges are slightly curled. It has been stored with mothballs to prevent insect damage.
