This is a vividly red Nagoya obi made of tsuzure-ori (tapestry weave). It has been stored at home for a long time (over 20 years). I have aired it out and replaced the mothballs every year, but I never wore it. Since it will just continue to age as is, I would like to pass it on to someone who can use it. Upon inspection for this listing, I found a small white thread on the back of the obi (photo 8), but I don't think it will affect wear in any way. I believe it is in a beautiful, unused condition.
