The spacing between the cords will be slightly larger depending on the needle size, but personally, I can use a 5mm counter for 2.5mm needles without any problems. However, some people prefer the spacing to be as narrow as possible for ease of use. This is a matter of preference, so please try it out and see what works for you. Conversely, using a counter that is too tight may cause ladders (gaps) in your knitting. Personally, I have never had gaps with my row counters. Some people say that while the decorative flower beads are cute, the ones without decorations are easier to use. ※※※ ☆ These are simple counters with number beads strung on a cord. They are lightweight and compact, and won't get in the way of your knitting. I recommend them to those who dislike the clinking of metal. The beads may have uneven paint or paint on the sides.
