There are no noticeable stains or fraying on the surface, but there are several marks on the back hip area (see photos 6, 7, and 8) that appear to have been caused by sitting on rocks. However, there are no holes, and it looks like the fibers have caught on something. I don't think it will affect wear, but please refrain from purchasing if you are concerned.
