The mouthpiece is a YAMAHA 11E4. The instrument case is YAMAHA, but it wasn't the original one when I bought it. ━━━ About six months ago, I ended up buying this incredibly unfortunate cornet used on an online flea market. I was deceived by the images and description... They hid the unfavorable parts, and they also hid that the solder had come off. There are some truly malicious sellers out there... This... how could a pro model end up like this...? Why would someone give such an expensive instrument to someone who doesn't understand its value...? Even if I had been careful, just bumping it a little... would be one thing, but what could they have possibly done to get it into this terrible condition...? ━━━ The condition of the instrument is, overall, heavily used. Dents and areas where the solder has come off that I am aware of are shown in the photos. Because the solder has come off, the main tuning slide is difficult to move. It can be removed if you hold the detached part. I have checked and replaced the piston felts and corks. ━━━ It's not unplayable, but it's not practical, and if I were to have it repaired to the point where it could be used properly, it would cost a fortune, so I've given up and decided to sell it as junk.
