I kept this in its box as a spare, but I never used it. The contents are in beautiful condition, but the box has minor scratches, scuffs, dents, and the tape has discolored to brown. The one I was using was made of wood, so it had stains and I threw it away, but it was very quiet and made of natural wood, so I felt safe even if they chewed on it. I loved it so much that I prepared a spare when it broke, but it was so sturdy that it never broke. It's a discontinued item, so it's not sold anywhere now, and I've never seen it for sale. It's a very good product, so it's very difficult to let go, but I can't keep a hamster because I have a lot of birds, so I'm letting it go.
