This is an unused Kurawanka bowl. It's a retro item that was stored at my parents' house. It is in good condition and clean. It has a peacock-like design and a mark on the back (please check the photos). Kurawanka bowls are thick, sturdy porcelain bowls for commoners, used on "Kurawanka boats" that sold meals on boats traveling the Yodo River during the Edo period. They were mainly produced in Hasami ware from Nagasaki and are characterized by their high foot, which provides stability even on a rocking boat. ★Diameter: approx. 11cm ★Height: approx. 8cm Thank you for looking.
